Thriving teachers. Engaged students. Stronger schools.

Where should we be placing our attention in education right now?

That’s the question at the heart of everything I do.

I’m a teacher of almost two decades, a parent and the host of Right Now — a podcast exploring the challenges, opportunities and conversations shaping education.

After nearly two decades in schools, I’ve become increasingly interested in the conditions that enable educators and students to do their best work — and what helps people sustain that work over time.

Through conversations with leading researchers, educators and experts, I connect evidence with the realities of school life to explore practical, human-centred approaches to teaching, leadership and wellbeing.

Through my podcast, writing and events, I’m interested in creating space for thoughtful conversations about education. Conversations that acknowledge the challenges while also looking at what is possible - for educators, leaders and anyone who cares about the future of education.

Professional Learning

Professional learning that creates space for the conversations that matter.

Together, we explore the realities of the current education landscape and ask the questions that can help us move forward with greater clarity, purpose and hope.

Through thoughtful discussion, shared insights and practical opportunities, we consider where our attention is best placed in our individual settings, whether you're a teacher or a leader.

Themes that continue to emerge include:

Trust • Clarity • Culture • Connection • Sustainability • Rethinking Success

Because the future of education will not be shaped by individuals working alone, but by communities learning and growing together.

Coaching and Mentoring

Teaching is deeply rewarding, but it can also feel complex and overwhelming.

These six-month one-on-one mentoring programs provide personalised support for teachers seeking greater clarity, sustainability and connection in their work.

Together, we'll explore the realities of your context, celebrate what's already working and identify practical changes that can make a meaningful difference. Through thoughtful conversations and ongoing support, we'll focus on creating ways of working that are both effective and sustainable.

With regular check-ins and accountability, mentoring provides a space to think, reflect and grow, so that you can continue doing the work that matters most.
